Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was revealed (2:185). Its days are fasted, and its nights stood in taraweeh prayer — the devils are chained and the gates of Paradise opened.
In its last ten nights lies Laylat al-Qadr, better than a thousand months (97:3). Seek it in the odd nights with the dua: "Allahumma innaka Afuwwun tuhibbul-afwa fafu anni."
Take suhoor — there is blessing in it; hasten iftar with dates and water; and give generously: the Prophet ﷺ was most generous in Ramadan, like the free-blowing wind.
