Unit: Pillars of Iman · Lesson 6 of 50 · study cards + quiz
The first pillar of faith
Iman begins with believing in Allah: that He alone is the Creator, Sustainer and Owner of everything, and that He alone deserves worship, with no partner.
His beautiful names
Allah has the most beautiful names and perfect attributes — ar-Rahman (the Most Merciful), al-Khaliq (the Creator), as-Sami (the All-Hearing) — and nothing is like Him (42:11).
Belief that shapes life
Knowing Allah sees and hears us at every moment builds ihsan: to worship Allah as if you see Him, for though you do not see Him, He surely sees you.
