💛 Belief in the Last Day الإِيمَان بِاليَوْم الآخِر
Unit: Pillars of Iman · Lesson 10 of 50 · study cards + quiz
This life is a test
The Last Day is when Allah resurrects all people to judge them. Believing in it is the fifth pillar of Iman: this world is the place of deeds, the next is the place of results.
The scales and the records
On that Day, deeds are weighed on the Scale and every person receives their record — the successful take it in the right hand. Not an atom's weight of good or evil is lost (99:7-8).
Paradise and Hellfire
The believers who did good are welcomed into Jannah, with what no eye has seen and no heart has imagined; and disbelief and evil lead to the Fire. This belief keeps our deeds sincere.
