The best of people
The Prophet ﷺ said: "The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it." The people of the Quran are the people of Allah and His special ones.
Company of the angels
The skilled reciter is with the noble angels; and the one who struggles and stumbles while reciting receives a double reward — one for reciting and one for the effort.
Rise and ascend
On the Day of Judgement it will be said to the companion of the Quran: "Recite and ascend" — their rank in Paradise is at the last verse they used to recite.
