Truth leads to Paradise
The Prophet ﷺ said truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise — while lying leads to wickedness and wickedness to the Fire.
Truth in everything
A Muslim is truthful in speech, in promises, in trade and even in jokes — the Prophet ﷺ joked, but never said anything untrue.
The hypocrite's signs
He ﷺ warned: the signs of a hypocrite are three — when he speaks he lies, when he promises he breaks it, and when he is trusted he betrays.
